On June 16, the 62-ton Rongcheng "Red Fuji" apples were loaded and shipped to Nepal after the Rongcheng Customs officers under Qingdao Customs passed the on-site inspection and supervision. This is also the first time that the "Rongcheng Apples" have been exported to the Nepal market.

It is understood that Shandong Rongcheng is a nationally advantageous apple cultivation area. The city has 168,000 mu of modern orchards with an annual output of more than 500,000 tons of apples. "Rongcheng Apple" has also become a geographical indication product of national agricultural products.

In order to help apple enterprises in the jurisdiction to export and turn the advantageous cultivation area into an advantageous export area, Rongcheng Customs has introduced a convenient policy to realize the administrative examination and approval "online" and "cloud review" for the registration of export orchards and packaging plants in the jurisdiction. The phytosanitary requirements of different international markets are the biggest obstacle in the export process of apples. The customs assigns special personnel to collect relevant foreign information, translate and notify export companies in a timely manner, intervene in advance of exporting apples, take the initiative to send policies to the door, go deep into the orchard, and guide the company’s development Pest monitoring and control.

Up to now, Rongcheng Customs has registered 8 fruit packaging factories and 18 registered orchards in the jurisdiction of Rongcheng Customs. The products are exported to the European Union, North America, the Philippines, Singapore and other countries and regions.
