Prof. Yue Tianli is currently the dean of the School of Food Science and Engineering, Northwest University, and a member of the Evaluation Group of Food Science and Engineering Disciplines of the Academic Degree Committee of the State Council. In 2005, he was selected as the Outstanding Talents Program of the Ministry of Education for the New Century, in 2006, he was selected as an expert with special allowance from the State Council, in 2008, he was selected as the "3rd Five-Year Plan" talents of Shaanxi Province, and the first batch of top-notch talents program of Northwest A&F University. He is also served as co-editor of “Food Frontiers” and editor of “e-Food”，“International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering”, “Journal of Agricultural Engineering, and Food Science”. He has obtained three provincial and ministerial first-class prizes in science and technology, two second-class prizes, one Fok Yingdong Foundation Prize and one Youth Science and Technology Prize of China Agricultural Society. Up to now, more than 300 academic papers have been published, including 120 SCI papers.
