Prof. Yue Tianli is currently the dean of the School of Food Science and Engineering, Northwest University, and a member of the Evaluation Group of Food Science and Engineering Disciplines of the Academic Degree Committee of the State Council. In 2005, he was selected as the Outstanding Talents Program of the Ministry of Education for the New Century, in 2006, he was selected as an expert with special allowance from the State Council, in 2008, he was selected as the "3rd Five-Year Plan" talents of Shaanxi Province, and the first batch of top-notch talents program of Northwest A&F University. Prof. Yue is also the chief scientist of the agricultural product processing and nutrition and health discipline group of Northwest A&F University,National Engineering Research Center of Agiculture Integration Test(YangLing). the director of the Laboratory of Quality & Safety Risk Assessment for Agro-products (YangLing),Ministry of Agriculture,China, the director of the National Yangling Agricultural Comprehensive Test Engineering Research Center, Member of Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Expert Group of the Ministry of Agriculture, Member of Food Safety Expert Group of the State Administration of Food and Drug Administration, the vice president of the Apple Industry Association of China, Consultant Expert of Food Safety Legislation of the Standing Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Congress, Deputy Director Executive Director of New Alliance, Director of Academic Committee of Southern Shaanxi Biological Resources Development and Utilization Alliance, Director of Academic Committee of Shaanxi Citrus Industry Science and Technology Alliance, Member of Expert Group of Food Safety Emergency Management of Shaanxi People's Government, Deputy Director of Shaanxi Food Science and Technology Society, Executive Director of Agricultural Processing and Storage Engineering Branch of China Agricultural Engineering Society, and Agricultural Society Executive Director of Product Processing Branch, Executive Director of Fruit and Vegetable Processing Branch of China Food Science and Technology Association, National Health Product Review Expert, National New Product Review Expert, National Laboratory Qualification Assurance (CNAS) Review Expert. He is also served as co-editor of “Food Frontiers” and editor of “e-Food”,“International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering”, “Journal of Agricultural Engineering, and Food Science”. He has obtained three provincial and ministerial first-class prizes in science and technology, two second-class prizes, one Fok Yingdong Foundation Prize and one Youth Science and Technology Prize of China Agricultural Society. Up to now, more than 300 academic papers have been published, including 120 SCI papers.
