Yang Jie

Senior agronomist, graduated from the Department of Horticulture, Shandong Agricultural University, majoring in fruit trees. He went to Italy to study fruit trees in 1981.

Mr. Yang worked in the Department of Agriculture of Shandong Province, engaged in fruit tree technology promotion, base construction, development of high-quality agricultural products, and sales expansion for more than 20 years.

He served as vice president of China's largest fruit export company (Singapore) Longkou Recurrence Zhongji Company for 13 years and familiar with the whole process of apple industry production, storage and transportation, packaging, processing, and sales, focusing on the analysis and investigation of China's apple market dynamics. In 2019, he was awarded the outstanding figure of 40 years of reform and opening up in China's fruit industry.

He is currently the director of the National Apple Engineering Technology Research Center, the deputy secretary-general of the China Apple Industry Association, the deputy secretary-general of the Fruit Branch of the China Chamber of Commerce For Import and Export of Foodstuffs，Native Produce And Animal By－Products, member of the Expert Committee of the China Fruit Distribution Association, and the honorary chairman of the Cherry Branch of the China Fruit Distribution Association.
