In recent years, he has presided over more than 10 subjects such as the key and general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the national key research and development plan, and the national apple industrial technology system.He found a group of stress resistant resources and related genes, and illuminates the apple the biologic mechanisms of drought resistance and high water use efficiency, established the apple art quality and efficient breeding system, developed a drought-resistant SNP marker, get a batch of new art high-quality varieties, the new system and new germplasm, authorized apple varieties such as 10, which new varieties of stress resistant and high quality apple "Qin Cui" and "Qin Mi" has been widely recognized;the technical system of apple anti - regulation in drought area was established and demonstrated.He has won 5 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards and published 12 books and teaching materials.He has published more than 380 academic papers in academic journals at home and abroad, more than 200 of which are SCI source journals.
