Associate researcher of the Institute of Agricultural Products Processing, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, member of the Academic Committee, and expert member of the National Agricultural Products Processing Technology Research and Development System. He is also a director of the China Apple Industry Association, a director of the China Logistics Society, an expert member of the Zhongguancun Cold Chain Logistics Alliance, and an editorial board member of journals such as Journal of Nuclear Agriculture and Agricultural Products Processing.
Dr. Duan Yuquan graduated from China Agricultural University in 2002. He has long been engaged in research on agricultural products storage and processing theory and applied technology, as well as related research in the fields of fruit, vegetable, and edible fungus preservation, storage, processing, and by-product utilization. He has presided over more than 20 scientific research projects at the national level and above the provincial and ministerial level, and published more than 50 scientific papers in journals such as "Chinese Agricultural Science", "Food Chemistry", "JA FC", "PBT" and "Molecules". Dr. Duan Yuquan has obtained 11 national invention patents, presided over the formulation and revision of 2 industry standards, and won a number of national scientific research awards.
Dr. Duan Yuquan focused on the research on the browning mechanism of the peach fruit after harvesting and the postharvest preservation technology, and the research on the storage and processing technology of the Northeast carob, cherry, winter jujube, mulberry and other fruits and vegetables, and put forward the storage and preservation plan of characteristic fruits and vegetables.
